Athletic Hall of Fame
Woodstock Academy and the Woodstock Academy Alumni Association are proud to announce the formation of a Woodstock Academy Athletic Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame will provide a forum to recognize those distinguished individuals, alumni or otherwise, and teams who exemplify the highest standards of Woodstock Academy through their endeavors, accomplishments, and sportsmanship in regard to Woodstock Academy athletics. Nominees may fall under five categories: athlete, coach, athletic director, team, and booster/benefactor.
The Hall of Fame is scheduled to induct its inaugural class in the fall of 2012. Woodstock Academy alumni and the general public are invited to submit names for nomination to the Woodstock Academy Athletic Hall of Fame Nominating Committee. Nominating forms and induction criteria can be found by visiting here, in the Alumni Office, or may be obtained by contacting the Director of Development & Alumni Relations, Kristen Willis, at (860) 963-4926.
A banquet to honor and present the inaugural inductees will be held at a date to be determined in the fall of 2012. Future induction classes will then be presented on a biennial basis. All inductees will be enshrined on a wall of recognition on the campus of Woodstock Academy.
